Position: Manager, Business Analysis & Quality Assurance

Reports To: Senior Director, Business Analysis

Overall Responsibilities:
Working as a senior member of the iN DEMAND Business Analysis/Quality Assurance team, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing, coordinating and performing the day to day testing functions. The candidate will also be required to manage staff and or participate in the development of business requirements and specs for new development and enhancement processes. The candidate will report into the Sr Director of Business Analysis and Quality assurance. Additionally, the candidate must have or have demonstrated the ability to acquire a strong working knowledge of business processes, have strong communication skills and be able to work well with peers within IS as well as user community to effectively and efficiently resolve problems.

General Responsibilities
• Work with the Sr. Director to design and document business functions for use in system updates
• Work with director to establish and maintain testing plans and schedules
• Work with Sr. Director on other projects as required.
• Proactively  escalate important issues to the attention of the Sr. Director of Business Analysis
• Managing the staff’s/and or consultant’s defined projects as requested
• Define business requirements and communicate such requirements to developers.
• Extract business requirements and map these requirements to test plans and test cases.

Qualifications
• Minimum of 6 years experience in Business Analysis and application testing.
• Must have at least 2 years experience in managing/leading junior QA/BA resources
• Bachelors in Computer Science or Management Information Systems strongly preferred.

Required Skills:
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server 2000 skills including
• Knowledge of stored procedures
• Strong working knowledge of standard quality assurance methodologies
• Good business analysis skills
• Strong technical background in software and systems development and testing and be able to use this knowledge to apply to the development of new test strategies and processes as well as the specification and adoption of new test tools technology.
• Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.
• Must have leadership skills, high energy.
• Must have strong teamwork skills to interface with the company’s, Development, and Finance and other departments within the organizations in identifying and meeting the company’s various test requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to handle/organize multiple projects concurrently.
